Healing & Compassion Fund
Objective: The Healing and Compassion Fund (HCF) is dedicated to addressing the disparities in resource access for individuals, families, and communities affected by gun violence.
Overview: Individuals applying for assistance may receive up to $2,000 to help with essential needs, including temporary respite, relocation, minor home repairs and modifications, lost wages, as well as burial, funeral, and memorial expenses. The HCF is not intended to substitute for existing programs such as Victims' Compensation, Trauma Recovery Centers, health insurance, disability insurance, or life insurance.
