In an effort to bring awareness to the Greater Toledo food pantry network and their challenges, Continue United is proud to host a community-wide Food Challenge. Community members will compete on behalf of a food pantry located in Lucas, Ottawa or Wood County for an ultimate prize. The rising costs in grocery store items and the expiration of pandemic-related SNAP benefits is forcing our local food pantries to serve more families than they’re able to. This challenge will bring awareness to the food pantry network and encourage greater support from the community.

All proceeds from this challenge will directly support local food pantries and United Way of Greater Toledo’s ongoing work to develop long-term solutions in food insecurity. Need help selecting a food pantry? Here are a list of pantries in Lucas, Ottawa and Wood County. Pantries
